due to the approach of spring and my pending trip to Panama for helena's wedding, i am trying to decide on the wisdome of removing my snow tires before we go. i don't want to wear them down more than necessary and i know as of quebec city there is no snow but i also don't want to wish i had them for our return trip or if we encounter some freak last season storm - after all it is easter weekend and often we think it's all over and then mother nature reminds us who is really in charge and how little we really know about anything!
so - to remove or not to remove?!?!
happy april!

Looking at weather statistics for Baie-Comeau, on average you have some snow cover (5-10cm), the average temperature is zero, and it's equally likely to rain as snow (not much of either.) Even if you do hit a storm, you know how to drive in low-traction conditions without snow tires. But if it makes you feel safer, keep the snow tires on.
